Intermediate Mixed Team

Cascades’ newest team is taking it up a notch this year! The Draveurs is an intermediate-level team for paddlers with at least one season of experience who are looking to progress their technique and fitness and work towards improved performance as a crew.

When: Tuesdays 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Schedule: May 19 - September 15, 2026 (18 sessions)

Cost: $195.00 plus tax - Club membership is required

Registration includes weekly training sessions (18 weeks) + registration to the Carleton Place regatta (Sept 12, 2026).

(Recreational / Beginner)

Recreational Mixed Team

Join a team of enthusiastic paddlers and learn the sport of dragon boat in a fun atmosphere with a friendly group of people on the beautiful Gatineau River. No paddling experience necessary!

When: Tuesdays 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Schedule: May 19 - September 1, 2026 (16 sessions)

Cost: $150.00 plus tax - Club membership is required

River Spirits

(Recreational / Beginner)

Recreational Women’s Team

Come out and paddle with a fun and friendly group of women on the beautiful Gatineau River. We welcome women of all ages and abilities. No paddling experience necessary!

When: Thursdays 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Schedule: May 21 - August 27, 2026 (15 sessions in total) - cancelled practices will be made up in September.

Cost: $130.00 plus tax - Club membership is required

Cascades Dragon Boat Team

(Semi Competitive)

Semi Competitive Bilingual Women’s Team

WHO?

We are a semi-competitive bilingual women's team with a passion for paddling and keeping fit while having fun. If you are an active team player who wants to train hard, we'd love to hear from you!

WHAT?

We are recruiting women of all ages and levels of paddling experience to train and compete this summer in local and regional regattas. In the off season, team members have the option of participating in different training opportunities (gym, cross-country skiing, etc.,) and enjoying 12 months of team spirit!

WHERE?

Training sessions are given at the Cascades Club, on the Gatineau River in Chelsea, Quebec.

WHEN: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Schedule: May 9 (all-day training camp)

May 11 - August 26, 2026

Registration includes 2 training sessions per week for 17 weeks + 3 regattas.

Cost: $325.00 plus tax + Cascades Club membership.
