About the camp
The Cascades Summer Camp offers a classic outdoor summer camp experience, filled with games, activities, friendships, and plenty of time spent paddling and enjoying the beautiful Gatineau River. The best place for kids to spend their summer!
Our campers are grouped by age and supervised by attentive and compassionate counsellors. We spend the morning at the clubhouse property playing games to foster teamwork and athletic skills and doing crafts and creative activities to engage the imagination. In the afternoons we spend time at the Club’s waterfront on the Gatineau River, where campers swim, play, and paddle!
Details
Our program is a weekly day camp that is intended for kids aged 6-12 (campers must be 6 by the 15th of August, 2025). We can have up to four camp groups per week, which are organized by age. Each group will have two counselors or one counsellor and a counsellor in training, groups are capped at 14 campers. Camp is offered during eight weeks of the summer; however, it does not run on Statutory Holidays or weekends, we do not offer before and after care. Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Week 1: June 23th to June 27th (4 day week, No programming Tuesday June 24th)
Week 2: June 30th to July 4th (4 day week, No programming on Tuesday July 1st)
Week 3: July 7th to July 11th
Week 4: July 14th to July 18th
Week 5: July 21st to July 25th
Week 6: July 28th to August 1st
Week 7: August 4th to August 8th
Week 8: August 11th to 15th
*Price is prorated for 4 days weeks
Before & After Care Program is returning!!!
Need a little extra time at the start or end of your day? Our Before & After Care program offers supervised, low-key fun for campers outside regular camp hours. Available from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, this service is perfect for busy families.
Please note: There is no camp or care on June 24 or July 1 due to statutory holidays.
2025 Prices
Members: $366.00 per week
Non-members: $431.00 per week
*Members of the Cascades Club receive a discount on camp as part of their membership benefits.
Weekly Rates for Before and After Care :
$48.00 for a single child ($38.40 on 4-day weeks)
$72.00 for multiple children from the same family ($57.60 on 4-day weeks)
The Cascades Club believes that every child should have the right to paddle and / or attend camp, therefore we are introducing a new financial assistance program for anyone needing financial support for one of the Cascades Club’s paddling camps and / or summer camps.
