Cascades Club Safe Sport Commitment

The Cascades Club is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for all participants, including athletes, coaches, volunteers, officials and families.

We believe everyone has the right to participate in sport free from abuse, harassment, bullying, discrimination and neglect. Our club supports Safe Sport principles and is committed to promoting the safety, dignity and well-being of everyone involved in our programs and activities.

As an affiliated member of Canoe Kayak Canada (CKC) and Canoë-Kayak Québec (CKQ), our club follows the Safe Sport and sport integrity frameworks established by these organizations.


Reporting Concerns

Anyone who experiences or witnesses behaviour that may violate Safe Sport policies is encouraged to report it.

Concerns related to abuse, harassment, violence, or neglect in sport may also be reported to Canoe Kayak Canada Safe Sport (CKC) and/or Québec’s independent sport integrity office.

These organizations provide policies, education resources and reporting information to support a safe sport environment across Canada.

All reports will be treated seriously and handled confidentially.
