Carleton Place Dragon Boat Festival, Cascades Women’s DB team
The Cascades Women’s Dragon boat team is participating in the Carleton Place Dragon Boat Festival which returns on September 6, 2025, for a full day of exciting races on the Mississippi River, welcoming paddlers of all ages and skill levels. Lachine Knockout: Dragon Boating races, Cascades Women Dragonboat Team
The Cascades Women Dragonboat team is participating in the Lachine Knockout. This event is a fast-paced dragonboat festival featuring 200m sprint races. Now in its 23rd year, teams from across Quebec and Ontario compete in knockout-style finals where the last boat standing wins, on the St. Lawrence River in Lachine, QC. Pan American Club Crew Championship, Cascades Women Dragonboat Team
The Cascades Women Dragonboat team is participating in the 6th Pan American Club Crew Dragon Boat Championships will take place at Montreal’s Olympic Basin from July 4–6, 2025. Hosted by the seasoned teams of 22Dragons and H2oplayground, this premier event will welcome top club crews from across the Americas for three days of elite racing. Cascades Club Annual General Meeting

High Performance Training Camp in Portugal
Youth athletes and Head Coach & Paddling Director Karen Lukanovich, along with parent chaperons and a masters athlete are in Portugal for the annual spring training camp.
Youth Strength & Conditioning
A 6-week youth strength and conditioning program is tailored for youth, ages 11 to 15. It involves strength training, conditioning, and skill development, all under the supervision of fitness coach Sylvie D’Aoust. The focus is on safety, correct form, injury prevention and having fun.
